| No measurable difference, and eliminates it from the list of items to check when troubleshooting later on for possible wastegate issues... A recent case where we had to remove it was: 1) On my EXP90 Z, damn things kept causing boost creep, removed them, viola'! on spring pressure.
Moral of the story is, a normal non-expansion style 3'' dump style downpipe, would eliminate creep,(introduce mild non measurable turbulence), and even a expansion style DP, regardless of the internal gating of the turbos and the seperator removed would do just fine, and perform just as well.. So in a weird way, the breather mod revolution has brought us full circle back to the simple dump downpipe, doubtful you would measure any differences between the it and a expansion style Dp with the separator removed.
Seems like we can go away from the fancier downpipes and revert back to a cheaper wide open pipe, (doubtful the added mild turbulence could be measured in day to day driving or on a dyno).
